Over the years it has started to become noticeable how well established Linux and the open source philosophy has become in our community. It now even has it's own web site and bulletin board. Please note that this site is operated independantly by Avec Solutions, and as such should not be treated as a branch of BLUG.

An all-round great Redhat-based distribution. Boasts a high level of
standards-compliance, an amazing package collection, support options, and lots
of backing by big companies.
Debian GNU/Linux
Arguably the most complete not-for-profit Linux distribution. Debian features
an excellent package management system, automatic updates, and great support.
Rasterman
The brains behind the Englightenment
Window Manager and efm, Rasterman gave BLUG a talk during 2000.
