Kasei Limited is a small consultancy company that develops Free Software, mostly in Perl. They also use Linux, Apache, and MySQL a lot.

Kasei is the transliteration of the Japanese word (that you won't be able to read without the proper font) 火星 that means "Mars (the planet)". The first character in the word, 火, means "fire"; the second character, 星, means "star" or "planet". The written word means the same in Chinese but has different pronounciation.
