History

BLUG 1.0 was launched in September 1999. The first meeting of BLUG 2.0 took place on Tuesday 8th November 2005.

Philosophy

Something brief on the origins of Linux and the philosophy of Free Software and how this applies to the BLUG.

Aims

Technical Education (LPI syllabus)
Promotion of FOSS (links with AFFS/IFSO)
Business support (promoting collaboration between FOSS businesses)
