Hey guys,
Sorry it took me so long to get this done, been busy i guess :S. Anyways on with the show. The start of a new year, start of a new series of geekery and fun to be had! Slow start to the evening but there were quite a few of us in the end, well done were getting more consistent with the regulars etc now.
I remember some of the topics we talked about but not all so please just post back to this if you remember something etc you know the drill.

- Technology
- Phones the android war. Is android the future of linux phones? Or
will it phase out, we don't think so its too open and nice for that!
- Java is the enterprise weapon of choice i guess. ( Makes bunny cry
- ( ) When will they learn embeded python or mono is nicer

- I'm in the middle of trying to check out Debian/kFreeBSD I might
bring my laptop over next time if i get stuff working. http://www.debian.org/ports/kfreebsd-gnu/
- Setting up fully networked Pulse Audio is complicated! http://pulseaudio.org/
- Using BSD Ports is slow and makes me sleep but works pretty well,
pkg_add the binary package management helps.
- Jobs are starting to come about again maybe we hackers won't be
homeless after all ;)
- Belfast Linux Site is down!
- Some local guys have linux/FOSS blogs and want to get onto the
Belfast Linux Planet but having problems. http://planet.belfastlinux.org/
